Daring Greatly™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness.
Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
This intimate 6 week or weekend group is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for you to go deeper into The Daring Way™ process. Through videos from Brené Brown, experiential exercises and discussion based around concepts from Daring Greatly, you’ll learn new tools and practices to help you move forward more authentically, resiliently, and with a deeper sense of your worthiness.

Dear fellow travelers, It is amazing to me how intimate we became in such a short time, a testament to Brene's work and to our guide, Virginia. We are hard-wired for connection, and it was oh so satisfying to connect with all of you...Would [all the changes in my life] have happened if I had not come together with all of you to plumb the depths of our hearts and minds, to ask ourselves what we truly wanted and to understand that we are worthy and that the worst that could happen is that we could fail? I will carry each of you in my heart until we meet again. When you go into the Arena, know that I will be there for you, cheering.

It is hard to find words to describe this experience. It gets to your bones; changes the way you view yourself and the world. It gives you the courage to be vulnerable and helps you celebrate the life you have.
I came to The Daring Way workshop via Brene's website and not knowing Virginia or any of the participants in my group. I was excited about diving deeper into Brene's work, but concerned that it might fall flat or that it wouldn't be "enough." What I found was that Virginia is a very wise and talented therapist and facilitator that allowed me to gain strength and wisdom through the group. Each session I took many notes as I did not want to miss the nuggets of wisdom and life change that I started here...and will continue in the next steps of my life.
I feel so grateful for meeting you and sharing this experience with you and for Virginia for pushing me to do this most valuable work. To work on oneself is the hardest thing I have ever done. The Daring Way and all of you ave really taught me that it okay to feel vulnerable and that we are not alone in this world and we are all dealing with our own demons and insecurities and that life is a journey. I thank you for listening to me and just being there and understanding my emotions, but more importantly, trusting me to listen to your stories and inner struggles and feelings which have truly given me the strength to understand myself better: to show up/be seen/ and live brave.
This was an amazing self discovery journey. I loved every bit of this workshop. The exercises and videos really helped me explore, see, and understand the different elements, ideas, and concepts discussed in the workshop. I felt every question helped peel a different layer of the on ion and helped really understand the different things we use to avoid vulnerability.i particularly liked checking in at the beginning of each session -- It really helped me gain trust and feel a part of the group. The fact that I am seeing Dr. Green during my private sessions really helps me feel that this is a continuation of the work/the practice. Dr. Green is gifted in helping us go to "that"place. It is so great that I am left wanting more! I can't wait to do the next workshop and I really want my husband and closest friends to go through this amazing self-discovery process. The "Awareness" has just begun.
Thank you, Virginia, for a wonderful experience through the Daring Way course. Through Brené Brown's teachings, you have guided me towards the healing I've so desperately been seeking. I really connected with the Daring Way model of wholehearted living. I absolutely love the book and will be referring to it often. I loved doing the creative project and actually practicing vulnerability by breaking out my guitar and singing. You pushed me to think, dive deep and take ownership of my healing process. I am ready to shed my armor and get out there for some wholehearted living.
The work we did during Virginia's Rising Strong is absolutely necessary in order to deal with your story. It's normal to have everyday problems -- Big and Small. Brené and Virginia work seamlessly together to help us own our stories in whatever stage of life you may be in--business owner, new mother, spouse, or even professional millennial. We learned ways to combat our struggles by using our values in a generous and compassionate way. I will be forever grateful to this process and can't wait to keep exploring this work. Next step? Dare to Lead???
